LAINEY WILSON AND JELLY ROLL TOP MEG NOMINEES FOR 2024 CMA AWARDS(图1)

The Country Music Association (CMA) has announced the nominees for the 58th Annual Country Music Association Awards with Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson topping the list of MEG nominees for “Country Music’s Biggest Night”. The awards will be held on November 20, 2024, at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN with the ceremony broadcasting live on ABC at 8:00pm/7:00pm Central and will be available to stream the following day on Hulu.

Lainey Wilson, the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year, FemaleVocalist of the Year, and Music Videoof the Year award winner again received nominations across all three categories alongside her hit song ‘Watermelon Moonshine’ receiving a nomination for Single of the Year.

Jelly Roll, last year’s CMA Best New Artist award winner, tallied three nominations across major categories including Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year (Whitsitt Chapel), and Male Vocalist of the Year.

MEG songwriters also fared exceptionally well notching three nominations including two for Song ofthe Year for the chart-topping, Gold-certified ‘The Painter’ co-written by MEG songwriter Kat Higgins and Grammy award-winning, Platinum-certified ‘White Horse’ co-written by MEG songwriter Dan Wilson. MEG songwriter Austin Nivarel also scored a nomination for Album of the Year for his songwriting contributions to Jelly Roll’s Number One album Whitsitt Chapel.
