Multi-Platinum selling rock band SUM 41 have scored their first Number One on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart in more than two decades with their single ‘Landmines’ rising to the top spot in its twenty-first week on the chart (Billboard chart week dated March 9, 2024). 

Nearly twenty-two-and-a-half years since the band last topped the chart, the group make Billboard chart history by ending the longest stretch between Alternative Airplay Number One’s since the charts’ inception 36 years ago.

‘Landmines’ is the lead single on SUM 41’s upcoming final album, Heaven :x: Hell, a 20-track double album that will be released on March 29 by MEG label Rise Records. In May 2023, the group made a collective statement saying they would be disbanding after 27 years together.

Sum 41 is currently performing on their 70+ confirmed dates Tour of The Setting Sum final headlining world tour. The group kicked off their run of shows on March 1 with dates running throughout 2024 before their final show on January 30, 2025, in Toronto, ON.
