LAINEY WILSON LEADS ACM AND MEG NOMINEES WITH SEVEN NOMINATIONS AT 60TH ANNUAL ACM AWARDS(图1)

The Academy of Country Music (ACM) has announced its nominations for the 60th ACM Awards, with 12x ACM Award winner and reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson leading the pack of ACM and MEG nominees with seven nominations. Jelly Roll followed by landing three of his own, while publishing contributions included MEG songwriter Dan Wilson’s Grammy-winning song ‘White Horse’ scoring a nomination for Single of the Year, with Carly Pearce’s Gold-certified single ‘we don’t fight anymore’ receiving a nomination for Music Event of the Year.

Lainey Wilson ties for the most nominations in differen, earning nods in six separate categories, including her first nomination for Artist-Songwriter of the Year. Her Song of the Year nomination marks the fourth consecutive year she's been recognized and her seventh overall in that category, combining both Artist and Songwriter credits. Additional nominations include Entertainer of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for Whirlwind, and Visual Media of the Year for ‘4x4xU’.

Jelly Roll received three nominations in total including his second consecutive Entertainer of the Year; second consecutive Male Artist of the Year; and first for Album of the Year with his chart-topping Beautifully Broken.

The 60th ACM Awards will stream live exclusively for a global audience across 240+ countries and territories on Prime Video on Thursday, May 8 at 8:00pm ET/7:00pm CT/5:00pm PT from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. The monumental anniversary show will celebrate six decades of Country Music and feature unforgettable performances by the genre’s most legendary and multi-award-winning stars, including the previously announced Blake Shelton and Lainey Wilson.
