The project, backed by MEG’s $10 million investment in Lagos’ new Afrofusion Hub, features contributions from Pharrell Williams and Jamaican artist Chronixx. The hit single Sunny Savannah combines Burna Boy’s Yoruba ad-libs with Wizkid’s Auto-Tuned hooks, claiming the #1 spot on Apple Music’s Pan-African chart and generating 150 million TikTok views through a viral dance challenge. MEG organized pop-up concerts in Lagos and Accra, donating proceeds to local youth music programs. The album’s success solidified West Africa’s dominance in global rhythm-driven genres, with MEG securing licensing deals for film and TV adaptations across Europe and Asia.
